The Parish Council has recently been contacted by lots of people concerned about dog excrement left on the Higher Heath playing-field, even under and around the play equipment.

This is very offensive mess and in addition everybody knows the real dangers presented by the harmful bacteria in dog poo, especially for children.

 Please do the responsible and right thing and pick up your dog’s poo.  Most people do take responsibility for their dog and do that already.  There is a bin right by the car park to take the poo bags.  It is not someone else’s responsibility to clean up after your dog.  If you are not prepared to clean up after your dog you should not be walking it on Parish Council property.

With the warmer weather coming, everyone wants to come out and share our outside spaces.  Let’s all work together to make sure the grass is clean and safe to sit on and play on.
