Visit from Community Wellbeing Outreach Team 18.12.25

Shropshire Council's Community Wellbeing Outreach Team will be visiting Prees on Thursday 18 December. They will be parked at Prees Fire Station 10am -12pm.
A chance to chat about: health and wellbeing concerns, cost of living issues (energy and food costs), vaccinations, mental health,stopping smoking support, screening information, think campaign, lifestyle advice, social groups and support services.
Replacement of water pipes Brades Road/Station Road. Work starts 5 January 2026 for 15 weeks.

Severn Trent will be replacing 1500m of old water pipes in Brades Road and Station Road starting on 5 January 2026. Work is expected to take 15 weeks. Limited road closures affecting Station Road, Brades Road and Lighteach Road will be necessary. Access to homes in affected areas will be maintained. Affected addresses will be contacted directly by Severn Trent.
Severn Trent are holding a public meeting at Prees Village Hall on Monday 8 December 2025 3-6 pm to explain the work and answer any questions. All interested persons are welcome to attend.
